Notes for your shoot (Please read)
HAIR
If you wish to style your hair for shoot, please come to session with hair already done. If you have long or curly hair, avoid using shampoo for at least 2-3 days leading up to shoot, as hair that has been freshly washed with shampoo can appear frizzy and cause a static look to your hair in pictures.
MAKEUP / SKIN PRODUCTS
If using makeup, please use lightly, the idea is to look like your natural self. If using moisturiser or other skin products, please avoid anything that is too oily/glossy as this will cause too much shine under lights.
CLOTHING
Please bring a selection of wardrobe options for variety. Avoid baggy tops, low cut tops or turtle necks. Well fitted t-shirts, polos, tank tops or similar all work best for head shots. Avoid anything with obvious logos.
I'm Chris Peters (or Chrispy to friends) I am a filmmaker, photographer and former talent agent based in Perth, with over 10 years of first-hand experience in casting for film, tv and commercials. I have shot and edited head shots for over 300 actors. I have gained so much insight into how the industry works, but more importantly, learned what does and doesn't work when it comes to actors and the essential content for their portfolios.
